Kiss me Deadly: 13 Tales of Paranormal Love is the follow up anthology to The Eternal Kiss: 13 Tales of Blood and Desire.

Only two writers return from The Eternal Kiss, with other 11 wonderful YA authors. Kiss me Deadly is set to be released July 27, 2010

Caitlin Kittredge – story is called Behind the Red Door. It’s a ghost story/fairy tale in the tradition of Charles Delint. Girl meets boy, boy turns out to be dead, girl wonders how far is too far to go for the love of her life, especially when sinister forces start affecting her family and friends.

Diana Peterfreund – titled Errant, is an 18th century French feminist killer unicorn story about a nun and a bride and a forest full of monsters.

Karen Mahoney – title The Spirit Jar, it’s the tale of what happens when Moth (from Falling to Ash) goes to London to retrieve an ancient Arabic text, but ends up caught in the middle of a fight between a heartbroken (cute) Djinn and an evil magician. (check out her comment on our post!)

Justine Musk – (to be announced)

Sarah Rees Brennan – story  is called The Spy Who Never Grew Up . It is about Peter Pan in a tux with a dead leaf as a bowtie, the Queen of England, and the captain of a crack team of killer fairies called Ninja Star.

Michelle Rowen – titled Familiar,  it’s about a teen-witch-in-training who picks out her animal familiar, which turns out to be a shape-shifting boy in hiding.

Carrie Ryan – (to be announced)

Maggie Stiefvater – author said: “*grin* It’s a secret.” The story will be angsty and will involve neither vampires nor werewolves.

Rachel Vincent – still untitled. It is set in my Soul Screamers universe, a couple of years before the beginning of the series. It feature Nash (a male bean sidhe) and his (now former, then current) troubled girlfriend, Sabine.

Daniel Waters – (to be announced)

Michelle ZinkThe Assassin’s Apprentice. Set in the late 1800’s, it features Rose, one of the last descendants of the original angels, whose quest for revenge over the execution of her parents is threatened by a mysterious man with the same mission.

 The new drama is based on the Pretty Little Liars Novels, in which the lives of five adolescent girls who are best friends are tragically disrupted when one of them disappears. Three years later, the remaining teens find that secrets of theirs that could only have been known by the missing, presumed-dead girl are being exposed.  The show will be directed by Lesli Linka Glatter, and is set to premiere on ABC in June of this year
