I Am Number Four is the first book of a new YA series about teenage aliens (number four is one of nine on Earth). The series is written by Pittacus Lore, and Elder alien from the planet Lorien, who managed to secure a six-book deal with HarperCollins! Note that Lore is nom the plume of authors James Frey and Jobie Hughes.
What is most amazing about this new series is that a movie adaptation is already in the works, produced by none other than Michael Bay (The Transformers) and Steven Spielberg.

Oh, another author that get this great deal, without releasing ONE book! How do they know that we are even going to like these books?
I’ve read it and it wasn’t as amazing as I hoped. I’m excited to see what they do with the movie adaptation, but the book let me down a bit. It was a 3/5.
